Best Ever "Cowboy Beans"

Greetings and Happy New Year!

 We hope your holiday season was full of family, friends and blessings! January is all about getting Christmas put away and looking forward to the "Big Game."  We thought we would share with you a recipe that is hands down our favorite!  It is easy and won't break the bank but one you will be asked to make over and over! 


  • 1 can great northern beans
  • 1 can B&M brick oven beans
  • 1 cab kidney beans
  • 1/4 lb bacon minced
  • 1 cup catsup
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 red onion

Drain all beans!  Saute the bacon and onion until cooked.  Now just dump all the remaining  ingredients together, give it a good stir to combine and bake at 325* for one hour in a heavy pot or you can cook in the slow cooker for 4 1/2 hrs on low. 

Pair this with a smoked brisket and a cold one!

  • Made this for my super bowl party and it was a BIG hit, even my executive chef husband like it! I use vegan cheese instead though due to a dairy allergy.
